Azra, a queer Muslim grad student in Canada, finds herself on a whirlwind journey through her family's past after the sudden death of her father. As she travels to Pakistan, memory and imagination blur - transporting her between 1969 Karachi and 1999 Nova Scotia, and between her own coming-of-age and her mother's.
